Tony, living in Devon, has trouble fixing himself to any particular genre. He writes lyrics as they come to him rather than through any instigated process. Lyrical content can be on any subject - ranging from hard-edge political satire to soppy romantic ballads.
From as far back as he can remember, Tony has put words to music - in his own head to begin with and then as part of bands and collaborations with musicians and friends. Although writing is very personal to him, he loves nothing more than to see his songs brought to life - or given new life - by those talented enough to plant a seed and nurture it to full growth. That said, contemporary music-making is often saturated with middle-men, he believes, and and simplicity is key to the best creations.
